Classroom Expectations

In order for everyone to have an opportunity to learn the most they can possibly learn, classroom expectations are a must!  Be thinking about things you can do to show you are following each of the four class expectations for behavior.  Consistently meeting the expectations of the classroom and the school will allow you to participate in A.S.T.R.O.S./D.A.R.E. activities and field trips throughout the year.

Behavior Expectations

  • Be safe.
  • Follow directions.
  • Complete assignments on time.
  • Respect the rights and property of others.

Homework Policy

You will be given a homework packet on the first day of each week, and it will be due on the last day of the week.  It is your responsibility to make sure that you have the homework packet, complete each assignment according to the schedule on the first page, ask questions in class if you are stuck on an assignment, and remember to bring your homework back to school so that you can turn it in.  Failure to turn in your homework on time will result in the loss of an A.S.T.R.O.S. point/D.A.R.E. letter.  Very few exceptions will be made to this rule and will only be made in the case of a true emergency.  Forgetting is not a viable excuse!
