There are many ways you can help out in our classroom.  You can:

• Chaperone field trips.
• Make copies.
• File.
• Grade papers.
• Special classroom projects.
• Organize classroom parties.
• Volunteer for Grandparents Day.
• Help with the fifth or sixth grade booth at the carnival.

I will have a volunteer sign-up sheet available at Open House. 

Although the school district provides us with most of what we need in the classroom, the following items can always be used:

• Extra boxes of tissues (especially during cold and allergy seasons).
• Colored copy paper.
• Colored card stock.
• Old magazines.
• Glue sticks.
• Ziplock bags (sandwich and gallon size).

Any donations you can make will be greatly appreciated!

If your student is a sixth grader, please make sure you designate any tax credit money to "Sixth Grade Field Trips" as we have quite a bit of money to raise for our exciting field trips.  If your student is a fifth grader and you would like to donate tax credit money, you may specify its use in our classroom.
